Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these terms

FlyConnect is operated by UrbanSync Innovations LLC (“UrbanSync”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the FlyConnect app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community Guidelines, which form part of this agreement.

If you do not agree, do not use FlyConnect.

2. Who may use FlyConnect

You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding contract, and not barred from the service under any applicable law or by a previous removal from the platform. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Registering with false identity, employment or qualification details is a breach of these terms.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant UrbanSync a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting FlyConnect. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it has already been shared with others, or where we must keep a copy by law.

You are responsible for what you post: that you have the right to post it, and that it does not breach anyone else’s rights, your employer’s policies, or aviation confidentiality and security rules.

4. Acceptable use

Our Community Guidelines set out what is and is not allowed, including harassment, threats, scams, fake profiles, spam, privacy abuse, unsafe meetups and misuse of location features. Breaking them breaks these terms.

You also agree not to reverse engineer, scrape, bulk-collect, automate, overload or interfere with the service or its security, and not to use FlyConnect to send unsolicited commercial messages.

5. Safety, meetings and check-ins

FlyConnect connects you with other people. We do not screen, background-check, vouch for or supervise members, and a verification badge confirms only the check we performed — it is not a safety guarantee.

Any meeting arranged through FlyConnect is at your own risk. Read the safe-meetup guidance in our Community Guidelines before you arrange one.

FlyConnect is not an emergency service. Check-In Safety notifies other FlyConnect members only. It does not contact police, fire, ambulance, airport authorities, your airline or your employer; we do not monitor check-ins; and we cannot guarantee that anyone will see or respond to one. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number first.

6. Partner offers

Aviation Deals and Partner Benefits are provided by third parties. UrbanSync is not the seller and is not responsible for a partner’s products, services, pricing, availability or terms. Any purchase is a contract between you and that partner.

7. What it costs

FlyConnect is free to download and to use, and every feature described on this site is included. Business accounts may pay to run promotions, which are always clearly marked as promotions where they appear.

If optional paid features are offered in future, prices, billing periods and renewal terms will be shown before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those stores and are subject to their refund policies.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on FlyConnect infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@flyconnect.co containing: your contact details; a description of the work you say has been infringed; a description of the material you are complaining about and where to find it; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them; and your signature.

We remove material that is the subject of a valid notice, and we may remove the account of anyone who repeatedly infringes. Postal notices go to UrbanSync Innovations LLC, 1315 Walnut Street, STE 801, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

9. Suspension and removal

We may limit, suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms or the Community Guidelines, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect members, the public or the service. Where it is appropriate and lawful, we tell you why and how to appeal. You may close your account at any time from Settings.

10. Our intellectual property

FlyConnect, the FlyConnect name and logo, the app and the website, and everything in them other than member content, belong to UrbanSync Innovations LLC and its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.

11. Disclaimers and limits on our liability

FlyConnect is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure against every threat, and we are not responsible for the conduct of members, whether on the platform or off it.

To the maximum extent the law allows, UrbanSync and its directors, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of FlyConnect. Our total liability for any claim relating to these terms or to your use of FlyConnect will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover UrbanSync against claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise out of your use of FlyConnect, your breach of these terms, the content you post, or your infringement of anyone else’s rights.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes are posted here and, where they affect you directly, notified in the app or by email before taking effect. Continuing to use FlyConnect after that means the updated terms apply.
